Giana at 7 Months!

Do me a favor... go to the very begining of the blog to when Giana was first born and see her development. See how much she has grown. And if you have time, read the stories. Giana has been blogging with us for 6 months now... and we certainly look forward to an another amazing 6 months. Thanks for joining us this far.
So what's new??? Giana has a walker, Giana is starting to crawl, and Mommy and Daddy are all over the place. Man this parenting thing is not easy. We're finding oursleves with 10 eyes all around our heads trying to keep watch of her every move. Though she's very well cared for, Giana is quick and she is surely giving us a workout. But we know this is all good. She is developing beautifully and we are so very proud of her. Oh and did I mention Giana has been beach bumming lately? Whatchout Bo Derek - we have ourselves a 10!

So what have we learned at the seventh month........
After six months we are seeing Giana become more mobile and more in tune with her surroundings. She's touching everything, she wants everything, and she's getting more curious about stuff now that she's gets more floor-time and does more walking. More and more complicated is the word! Sure she's doing more (if I say more one more time... slap me!) but that's to be expected. I'm sure we'll be losing weight with all this running around.
Wanna lose weight? - Have a kid!
One thing I learned this month was CPR for adults, children, and infants. I cannot tell you how valuable this knowledge is. With children forever putting things in their mouths, you can never be too careful. I know some of you old timers have had your share of close calls. I myself choked on a grape when I was one (thanks Mom! Just Kidding!) . But if this happened to your child, would you know what to do? If not then you should seriously look into taking a course. There are CPR centers everywhere and all you have to do is find one closest to you. Training usually takes a full day, but you walk away certified in adult, children , and infant CPR for the cost of around $75 bucks. I personally think it's worth it and I was very satisifed with the course. Think about this... Did you know that if the human brain does not receive oxygen within 9 minutes, the person can become vegetized? Get certified!
Til next month...
